We produced six mini guides for customers this year full of tips and advice on cleaner, greener and cheaper living to help people through the cost-of-living crisis. As well as wanting to offer support with easing money worries, the inspiration partly came from thinking of ways to highlight and raise awareness of energy saving and sustainable choices. The guides can help customers reduce costs in their home and offer simple ways to change habits, while still thinking sustainably.

Each guide focuses on a different topic, from fighting food waste to managing energy costs. They were published weekly online and we also printed physical copies of each guide to hand out to customers too. We first handed them out at an open day for our customers in Daventry and since then our Neighbourhoods team have been handing them out across all our areas.

The guides were shared with partners through newsletters, emails and events, so it helps support the wider community and not just our customers.
